Nook Box was created to connect readers with the best romance stories our region has to offer while supporting local authors and the wider book community.
We proudly feature both independently published and traditionally published authors, helping readers discover hidden gems, new favourites, and the amazing talent right here in our corner of the world.
Each month we announce the feature book via email and on our socials.
Not into this months book? email us and we can swap if for a past book if available or skip the month.
We feature a range of romance from open-door to more mature romance. Content guidance is provided where relevant so you know what to expect.
Spice Rating Guide is;
🌶 Sweet- This book is clean and wholesome. There May be light kissing and affectionate moments, but no explicit content. It may be closed door.
🌶🌶 Mild- The book includes come sensual moments and moderate kissing. Any intimate scenes are fade to black or lightly described.
🌶🌶🌶 Medium- The book features open door love scenes with moderate detail. There is clear sexual tension and chemistry, with some explicit descriptions.
🌶🌶🌶🌶 Hot- The book includes several detailed and explicit love scenes. the strong contains strong sexual content and steamy interactions, emphasising physical chemistry.
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Scorching- This book is explicit with frequent sexual scenes. The content is steamy and may include various erotic elements. Meant for readers who enjoy intense and detailed sexual content (SMUT)

Subscriptions and Billing
Choose a monthly or Bi-Monthly Nook Box subscription.
Depending on your subscription you are charged on the 20th of the month prior.
If you are subscribed you cannot cancel in the first month, after that you may cancel any time before your billing date.
Yes you can, Full skip controls are available in your customer account portal.
We’ll retry your payment and notify you via email. You can update your details in your account.
Subscriptions are packed early in the month and sent by the 10th
Shipping and Delivery
Currently Australia and New Zealand. Live somewhere else? Get in touch and we will see what we can do.
Shipping is included in all subscription plans. One-off orders are calculated at checkout.
Boxes ship around the 10th of each month. Delivery times vary depending on location.
If you have not received your box by the end of the month please get in touch.
Yes. Tracking is emailed once your box has shipped.
Contact us and we’ll work with the courier to investigate.
Yes, please update your address before the 20th to ensure it applies to your next shipment.
If it is after the 20th please email us to change the address.
Refunds and Support
We do not offer refunds for change of mind once an order has been processed or shipped.
Contact us within 7 days with photos and we’ll resolve it.
Our goods come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
