September 2026

September took a trip into the world of fairytale retellings and twisted tales but this definitely wasn't the Cinderella story we grew up with.

Our featured book, Cinder by Hailey Rodgers, puts a contemporary romance spin on a classic fairytale with a small-town firefighter, a single dad, his nanny and plenty of sparks along the way.

We took inspiration from both sides of the story for this month's box, mixing subtle Cinderella references with fiery bookish goodies and practical reading accessories. And because some books require a little emotional preparation, we even threw in a packet of tissues for those crying-book emergencies.
